Sorry for the last minute notice, but I just found out myself. The Union has moved our meeting room to 2637 Humanities. As such, you won't find it on the TITU listings. The meeting will still be tonight at 7:30 pm.
See you there!

WTC Meeting - Wednesday, May 6th @ 7:30pm

Apologies for not sending out a recap of the last meeting. I meant to, but classes got busy and next thing I knew I was already thinking about this month's meeting.
Anyways, we decided at the last meeting to move this month's meeting up a week to May 6th, so as not to interfere with any studying which people may be doing during finals week. It looks like we might finally have a response from the athletic department about track rental costs, so the prospect of dropping $1,300 for rental in 2009 will certainly be a topic of discussion.
Additionally, we left the prospect of holding the Capital Mile in conjunction with a 5k put on by another organization on the table last month, so I think a little more discussion on that topic is warranted.
Also, the idea of putting in a bid to host the 2009 NIRCA Midwest Regional has been bandied about in the club some in the past few months. The deadline to submit a bid is May 20th. I think Jade and I would be willing to put in the work to do it, but we'd definitely need help from others in the club.
There are a lot of decisions to be made that will have an effect on future activities you all will be involved with, as well as the finances of the club. Please attend if you want to have a say. The meeting will be at 7:30 pm Wednesday May 6th, at Memorial Union. Check the Today in the Union listings for a room number.
P.S. I think Dr. Joe Binder will be hosting a pasta party at the Biochem building on Friday night, while we'll be having an end of the season cookout at Kleif Park/Nicole's house on Saturday night after the Twilight meet. Look for emails with more details later in the week, and don't forget to sign up for Twilight by Wednesday at Noon!
