UW Howard Temin Lakeshore Path

• Named after one of its most avid users, UW's 1975 Nobel Laureate in medicine, this gravel/pavement path runs along Lake Mendota from the Univeristy of Wisconsin Memorial Union west to Picnic Point (1.6 mi) and Eagle Heights (2.2 mi). The 0.75 mi Picnic Point spur along the route also allows access to several miles of dirt trails through woods along Lake Mendota.
